This year Annual Convention of the European Power Transmission Distributors and Manufacturers Association (EPTDA) was held on 21-23 September in Berlin. For the first time in the history of independent Ukraine, the local company took part in this prestigious forum. This summer 2016 "Beltimport" became a full member of the EPTDA family! This event proved to be official recognition of the company's longstanding efforts at improving the processes, gaining knowledge and upgrading skills of the employees, introducing the best world achievements to Ukrainian business. General Director Mr. Alexey Besedin and Head of Purchasing department Mrs. Alla Pochtovaya were representing “Beltimport” at the conference.
EPTDA is, above all, a communication platform, where the "trendsetters" in the production of drive elements can exchange ideas with the strongest technical distributors. The undeniable advantage of EPTDA format is that top managers, managing directors, owners of companies in particular have the opportunity to communicate at this event, this is where decisions can be made quickly, and the handshake at the end can substitute a contract. A joint participation and communication during dinners or other EPTDA events allows you to reach common ground in the relationships.
Over the course of the conference, "Beltimport" representatives not only held more than 20 top-level meetings with leading manufacturers and distributors in Europe, but also communicated with opinion leaders in casual atmosphere. Our company has returned from Berlin with new acquaintances, new ideas and new status. No doubt, in these few days, we have become stronger and this is a big step forward on our path of continuous development.
