The theme of the program was “Shaft couplings and torque limiters”. Industrial application project manager of R+W Antriebselemente GmbH (Germany) Mr. Tim Augustin was invited for the training. R+W Antriebselemente GmbH produces industrial drive couplings and precision couplings, torque limiters.
New developments of disc couplings for centrifugal pumps according to API requirements were introduced during the training, as well as torque limiters for high speed applications, ultra light couplings from special raw materials, gear couplings with optimized gear form and special way of corrosion protection and also some other developments.
