Problem:
Due to non-uniform elongation of chains, which transport molds with solidified chocolate, horizontal orientation of transportation is disturbed. For this reason, the line has to be stopped frequently for adjustment.
Solution:
Recommendation: use of Tsubaki chains of Lambda series, which, due to hardened connecting links, as well as accuracy of link bush shape, are more resistant to all kinds of mechanical stresses than their analogs. The competitive chain installed on this equipment had service life of 5 years. After 7 years of use of Tsubaki chain of Lambda series, our inspection indicated no signs of substantial wear, and the customer approved further use of this chain. The elongation parameter of Tsubaki chains of Lambda series was 40% of elongation of the competitive chain at equal operation time.
Result:
Extension of chain service life, saving costs for maintenance.
