Thiele

Thiele was founded in 1935 in Germany by August Thiele. At the very beginning, the production of chains was carried out by manual welding using forge fire. The production of Thiele chains for the mining industry began in 1950. Stainless steel (23 MnNiMoCr 54), which is still used for high-performance chains today, was developed by Thiele engineers. Today Thiele manufactures over 5,000 different chain types and accessories. Thiele is the manufacturer of the longest (915 m) and heaviest (100 t) anchor chains in the world. Thiele constantly collaborates with leading research institutes to improve its products and create innovative materials that are lighter, more stable, and safer. Thiele chains are deservedly considered as the best one in many industries like mining, marine, poultry and wood.
