Problem:
Gear motors, designed by the OEM for the cutter drive had a quite short service life, which did not extend over six months, as well as a high price and a long delivery time. The plant itself and the company, in general, suffered heavy losses due to the regular replacements.
Solution:
Drive requirements: rotation speed - 0.1 rpm, return to the initial position - 50 rpm, repeat cycles every 2 minutes, ambient temperature 150°C. The leading Ukrainian metallurgy OEM together with one of the leading gear boxes manufacturers could not solve this high complexity task and at the end, the equipment did not work.
At the Beltimport`s production facility was assembled a test sample of the combined VF/W worm gear motor in a high-temperature resistant version. It was equipped with a special device to meet one of the mandatory classified work requirements 
.
Result:
The sample was successfully tested at the customer`s location. The customer systematically replaced the drives, which fail, with the offered solution from Beltimport`s engineers.
So, as the result we have:
- The purchase price of one gear motor reduced twice
- The service life has increased more than twice
- Delivery term was 48 hours only.
