Since 2016, Beltimport has been the only Ukrainian company that is a member of the European Power Transmission Distributors Association (EPTDA), which includes about 240 of the most renowned manufacturers and leading distributors.

Every year we meet in different European cities, and this year, the EPTDA convention was held in Sweden’s industrial capital - Gothenburg, home of the headquarters of companies like Volvo, Saab, AstraZeneca, Ericsson, Hasselblad, ESAB, and more.

370 delegates from more than 30 countries in the EMEA region spent three days together from morning till night. Beltimport scheduled and conducted 20 official meetings, both with existing partners and those with whom future collaborations are possible.
In a blitz mode, we managed to summarize our partnerships, share updates, and agree on new focuses or privileges.

But during the convention, networking happened every minute – at breakfasts and coffee breaks, in elevators, at lunch or during joint evening events.

“EPTDA is a unique format,” notes Beltimport CEO Oleksii Biesiedin. “Only here you can have an informal conversation over a glass of wine with most of the top executives from leading manufacturers and companies in the power transmission industry. And it brings people closer and builds mutual trust better than hundreds of email.”

Beltimport CPO Alla Pochtova adds: “In conversations with our partners, we emphasized that Ukrainian businesses are making tremendous efforts not only to survive but to grow. Although our daily reality includes constant air alarms and shelling, a catastrophic shortage of personnel, and lack of power, Ukrainian companies remain reliable partners even in these challenging conditions.

Our suppliers are our reliable support and backbone, and together we must be strong enough to restore lasting peace in Europe. Only this will give hope for a better future for us and our children.”

Our visit to Gothenburg proved to be fruitful: we not only strengthened our relationships with long-term partners, whose successful cooperation is the foundation of our achievements and with whom we have become good friends over the years, but we also gained new acquaintances, new agreements and new promising projects.

So, we continue to work and look forward to meeting again next year!
