The world leader in vacuum technology and our trusted partner, J. Schmalz GmbH, has developed a new multi-gripper for their JumboFlex manual vacuum systems. Thanks to manufacturing improvements, this vacuum gripper is now compact, light-weighted and available in two different formats.
The advantage of the new multi-gripper is its ability to handle cartons of different sizes and qualities. Due to the use of bellows-type vacuum suction cups, the gripper can compensate for inequality of the package during its movement, as well as grip the product from the side, for example, in plastic KLT containers. Schmalz has developed this flexible suction gripper with the aim of providing customers with a light-weighted tool that is optimally positioned for the suction cups and can be used simultaneously for a variety of tasks. To make the grip safety in operation, a rounded aluminum body is used, which does not require the use of additional pads on its corners.
We offer this vacuum tool in two sizes: 362x238x86 mm for the JumboFlex 50 (for a maximum load capacity of 50 kg) and 256x238x86 mm for the smaller JumboFlex 20 and 35 (maximum load of 20 and 35 kg respectively). Each version allows for the safe handling of different cartons, eliminating the need to change the suction gripper on the fly, saving time. Even “unstable” and open boxes can be moved precisely with this vacuum gripper. It also moves various products safely when 75% of the suction cups cover the carton. This vacuum gripper is an excellent solution for companies in the logistics industry, as well as for any enterprises in the areas of movement of packaged products.
