The flat belts are very strong, elastic belts absorbing vibrations and impact loads, which may be used at speed up to 100 m/s. In a wide range of high-performance flat belts, different materials for frictional layer and back-side coating are used in combination with one of three power-layer materials of the belt: aramid, polyester, polyamide. In comparison with other driving belts, these belts are convenient in use, highly efficient and have high degree of synchronization, as well as successfully work in angular drives, on cone pulleys. They can rotate several shafts simultaneously, including those rotating in opposite directions.
