Problem:
The presence in the yeast of conveyor belt fibers that are visually similar to human hair, as a result of which there were cases of return of exported products.
Solution:
It is recommended to use Forbo belts with low stretch Hi-Tech cord and with patented Forbo SmartSeal edge sealing. These belts are made according to individual order, with closed, friction-resistant edges, which eliminates fiber delamination. The low stretch “Hi-Tech” cord allowed the Forbo belt to run longer without excessive elongation than the previously used budget belt type with standard polyester cord. In addition, this Forbo belt meets all the requirements for the transportation of unpackaged food products, complies with the HACCP concept, and has high resistance to sanitary detergents.
Result:
Defects from the getting of fibers of the conveyor belt into the food product were excluded, the returns of export deliveries due to the presence of fibers in the finished product stopped. The service life of the belt has increased by 3-4 times. Maintenance times and the cost of frequent replacements have been reduced.
